Drinking too much water before bedtime, makes me unsleepy...

Have you ever experience unable to sleep when you drink more than four cups of water before bedtime? No matter how much I try to sleep in my bed in different sleeping position. I cannot get sleep. I never think of problems or any event that make me feel stressful. Maybe, because of too much intake of water that my stomach feel full. I even urinate and go to the bathroom many times. But, the feeling of fullness won't go away. Have you ever experience this feelings and what do yo do to makes yourelf sleepy?

of course it is a matter of common sense if you drink a lot of water as expected you could not sleep as your stomach is bloating and full of water..lol.:D

yup, because your stomach is full of water thus the bloating feeling one get so to ensure to have a good sleep it is best not to drink a lot of water before going to bed.

Hi Neelianoscet, I try not to drink too much water before sleeping. I would just have my cup of hot coffee and that's all. Else I would be waking up often to go to the toilet! Even if I'm sleepy, the waking up and all that will keep me awake!

i really feel my stomach is full because of drinking too much water. As observe it really affect my sleep. Nowdays, i am reducing my intake of water before napping.Maybe a warm glass of milk will help me to sleep. In case of you, prefer drinking a cup of coffee may not work on me. It really bothers my mind and it makes me feel awake most of the time. No matter what, it really depend on the person whatever mode she or he prefers to do when it comes to the best method to use to have a good sleep. Whatever works, may not work for others, but it is your choice. So just go on and enjoy sleeping:)
