Problem with google adsense!!

I have made a blog regarding all the PTC sites. You can check out my blog from my profile. I requested for the adsense ads, but my blog is not getting the ads. It says adsense account denied. The reasons they gave was not feasible, I couldnt find any problem with my site. They say that the site should be active for at least 6 months, is that so? But I find many people getting ads in their blogs as soon as they create their blog. please help me find out the reason my adsense account is not getting accepted.
