How often do you use smileys?

A smiley describes your facial moment at that moment in time. what is dificult to put in words is just done by a small little smiley. Most sms, emails have to have a smiley, i think out of the 100 informal text messages, emails sms, etc atleast 70% or may be more would have a smiley in it.
How often do you use smileys while texting, messaging, chatting, emailing.
Do you like using them. I use them quite often but have not used them more often at mylot.

More often, I use this 
at the end of my post. Unless otherwise the icon is not appropriate. What I mean is that when the post is not sad or just plainly expressing my opinion, I place this . But if the discussion denotes some other things that I need to express, then the appropriate icon is what I use. Like this one 
when its sad and many other icons that will somehow relate with my post.

I think the most commonly used smiley is the :) smiling face n the sad face i guess...
