it had been reported lately that the best way to speed metabolism is to take something to eat every 2 hours. a little bit of something to get the body working in using the calories. it had bee said that once the body senses starvation it would slow down its metabolism to conserve its remaining energy so your plan of consuming all the needed calories in one eating and not taking in anything during the day won't work. the body can sense this.

The short answer to your question would be Yes..taking in your daily limit of calories in one go,your body will process the food, and the excess that you're not using at the time will be taken by the liver and gradually turned into fats for storage..Your body works better having smaller meals throughout the day, giving a balance to the nutrients in your system, and making your digestive system restart every few hours helps keeping your metabolism going..hope this helps!
