I host a forum elsewhere & I was hoping someone would have some game ideas for me. I think the ones I've used have been used past their limit.
I've done games with the group like, Hot? or Not?, Would you rather?, Picture Uno, Various word games.....
Any ideas that would be PG rated (family appropriate) that were hits on sites you've been on?

Rather than try to explain games, check ut this msg board :) http://www.viewpoints.com/discussion_boards
There are/have been lot of games going on, a few I was addicted to for awhile! We did the would you rather also but over time that did get hard to come up with ideas for. The mind game you'll see on that board hs been going on forever and is really just a simple silly game for distraction :)

I think I'd like it if it was similar to this where you can see discussions of all topics you choose to see w/o having to go to every board and visit.
Eitherway I'm trying to get them moving it doesn't seem like they are biting. I'm thinking this will be my last attempt to liven up the board as I've discussed w/ hubby giving up the board beyond just posting like everyone else. **frustraited**

That reminds me of how my board used to be inbetween all the partenting chit chat. However, with their expansion of boards within the forum things have gotten sooooo slow.
Awsome LINK! Consider some of it SWIPED! *LOL*

I used to host chat rooms for a parenting site - mainly for moms but I had a few dads that joined my rooms regularly too. One of the most popular games I ran was Scramble (or call it Word Scramble, Mix-Ups, any kind of cute or appealing name you want to give it). Basically, every game was themed (the theme was announced at the start of the game to keep everyone on track) and would have a series of either scrambled words or phrases related to the theme (phrases are better because, for some folks, unscrambling a single word is really easy, no matter how many characters is contains). Everyone could "guess out loud" but had to preface their answer with "I GUESS: " so I could differentiate the guess from regular chat. If no one was guessing correctly, I would start to offer hints - either funny clues or setting a correct letter in place like you do in hangman: _ _ R _
