i'm one of those persons who just love to offer the perfect gift, that has real meaning and that brings a smile to the person who is receiving face.
for instance this year i'm getting my mother a little music box that plays brahm's lullaby, which she sang to me when i was little. it was our song!
how about you?

I hate when people give gifts just because they have to! I always try to make sure my gifts are personal and something I know they will like.
One year for Christmas I got my mom a crystal key chain. She always liked little key chains so she could stick her keys in her pocket, but something that was still easy to see. She had a stupid, ugly red piece of plastic for a long time. I finally got her to through it away!
This year for Christmas, I gave my father-in-law a lap blanket. He is ALWAYS cold. SO I crocheted him a 'patchwork' lap blanket. It is the perfect size. He uses it all of the time!
I hope your mom loves the gift!

I never know what to get my mom. She turned 75 this year so I collected lots of pictures of her and the people she has loved (her grandmother . her dad .. her mom .. .) loves (her granddaughters esp) and made her a scrapebook for mothers day! The best part of it was watching my mom and my daughter looking at it together.
OK so next is Fathers Day . .so how am I going to do something special for him !
