I'm planning another trip to Las Vegas... and this time, I'm meeting up with my sisters...very exciting! So I'm wondering about your trips to Vegas. Does anyone have some Vegas tips, advice, or fun stories?

Hi glords. So, when are you planning to go? Maybe you and your sister can meet up with my husband while you're there! He's going to Vegas (at least I think it's Vegas ) for business. He's supposed to be gone for a month. Which I hate because we've never been apart for more than a few days, tops. But the money is supposed to be good. So hopefully, it'll be worth it. I've been to Vegas once before. Though it was almost 20 years ago! I went because my dad was getting married to my step mom in Vegas and wanted my sister and I there. We only stayed a couple of days and didn't do much sight seeing, so I can't help you there. Sorry. I do remember wanting to see the White Tigers that were there, but only got a glimpse when going through the hotel they are at. I do have one tip for you though, if you happen to gamble and win, don't play it back. Take your money and run! LOL Have fun!

How funny! I didn't even think about that song when I posted my response! LOL I'd like to go, and if it was just the two of us I probably would. But since we have kids it just isn't possible, especially with our oldest being autistic. Plus, I wouldn't want to be separated from my kids for that long anyway, even if they do drive me nuts! LOL Oh, and I found out hubby's going to Los Angeles, not Vegas. Vegas is coming up though! Joy!

Lol... we are also going to LA this weekend... He is going to start thinking we are stalking him. You sound like an awesome mom... Personally I'm looking forward to a few days away, but I'm sure I'll miss my little man a ton.

Lol... your tip makes me think of that song... "Know when to hold em, Know when to fold em, Know when to walk away, Know when to run" I think that is easier said then done. Sorry about your husbands trip. I always hate my hubby's business trips too, except when he takes me along.

I love the excitement of vegas. Don't miss the free light show in the older section at night.

Are you talking about Freemont Street (Not sure on the spelling)? Yeah I'm excited to check it out with my sisters. I've seen it once before but I know at least one of my sister's hasn't seen it yet. Thanks for the comment!

I've only been to Vegas 3 times, but I loved it every time. It depends on what you like to do and what your sisters like as well. One thing I found interesting was sitting on a panel for a tv show, I think it was at NBC studios. Not only was it fun, but they also gave us a gift certificate for their store. I love the free shows too. If you time it just right, you can start at the Pirates of TI, move on down the strip and see each one (Volcano at the Mirage - Fountains of Bellagio) without missing a beat. I have written an article on ehow on How to travel to Las Vegas on a Budget. If you are interested, feel free to let me know. I hope you have a blast in Vegas!

Sure I'd love to read your article, and how do I go about participating in the sitting panel. I think I've done that before. Was that inside Ballys?

I always love to go to Vegas. My husband does gamble a little but not whole lot tho, he limits himself to play and just want to have fun there. The most exciting thing that I love to do are, shopping and eat. Wynn has good buffet. And also I love to ride bus there... then I can stop by anywhere I want for only $5. No headache about traffic or parking.
