Since 2006 the government of the city where I live in has provide free Wi-Fi (hotspot areas) in many public facilities such as city library, city parks, shopping malls, offices, universities, high schools, airport and even bus terminals. It really helps people to get to know internet better and learn something new from it. What about your city, does the government provide free Wi-Fi too??? Do you use it?? Is it useful for you???

No, it doesn't, but I really wish it did. We seem to be more dependent on the internet now, so it would be more convenient if there was internet everywhere!

My government does not provide free WI-FI. I know they were already working on this, but there were scams along the way so it has been put on hold. It's good though that most restaurants, hotels, schools, airports provide free Wi-Fi. That will do for now.

I hope not.. I've researched about this wi-fi thing and if i'm not mistaken it was proven to cause brain cancer because teachers in public schools have commented about heavy migraines whenever near the wi-fi station. personally i have experienced heavy migraines too.

Yeah some public schools in US have been debating about cancellation of wi-fi installation due to these symptoms :) your welcome but i really do hope it doesn't cause cancer because wi-fi is convenient especially to those who have wi-fi enabled laptops ;)

Lol! Right now I am staying in po-dunk-ville.. nowhere, Louisiana! I came here fro Chicago where it's a much different story! There isn't any wi-fi available here at all i any place.. most of the people here are not even familiar with the internet. A few use it.. but it's amazing how far back the town is in general!
