They weren't worth spending on back in the 80's when they came out.. and nohing has changed as far as I am concerned! Can't believe women like that style.. what a trashy, "gladiator", masculine style of shoe! I want the fun, feminine, classy, spike heels!!!

I didn't know those were out in the 80s too. Some people are saying the 80s are coming back. What a horrible fashion to come back. I guess obviously that's a much older style than the 80s, but I'm sure there was a reason it went away after awhile. Like people invented some better shoes!

I've seen those all over now. I admit they do look okay on some people. But they look so uncomfortable! I don't really like the look for myself, so I think I'll pass on getting some of those.

nah.i have cheap old flip flops for the summer. if i have to go out anywhere fancy,i normally put on regular shoes anyway. gladiator shoes can be too restraining depending on what you're doing,in my experience anyway.

Weren't they in for 2008? I have seen people wear them since August last year. If you are buying your pair now, I think the fad won't last that long. If you truly like them, then go get yourself one. Don't let trends dictate what you should wear. You should dictate trends.
