Happened to me few days ago...i was alone in the car, and when i was on the road, is the forest , somebody move his hand and ask help....i stop my car, i don t open my car door and i ask him with what i can help...of course i don t stop my car engine. I look to his face, and when i saw other person who come,..so he don t was alone..just i go, and i don t look back...i was so scared really, and i promise myself that never i don t stop my car when i am alone in the car..i am really afraid. There is not city where are a lot of people, is a road in a forest...so, do you think that was ok that i go away? Or must open my door and try to talk with they face to face?well...i don t think so..but what is your opinion? Do you really have courage to stop your car in a forest when you are alone and somebody ask your help?

That situation sounds really scary. I think you were very brave for stopping and offering to help, and also very smart for driving away when you didn't feel comfortable with the situation. I have stopped to try to help someone but only if I didn't have my kids with me. I think you did the right thing. You have to be aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts.

No way. I can use my cell phone and call for help. I wouldn't stop my engine and I wouldn't open the door... Who is walking in the forest alone? thanks the new technology and cell phones, we can help others in need without personal risk.

If that happened to me then I will do the same. With so much movies I seen lately about stopping your car in the middle of the forest and many bad things may happen. That would eventually freak me out.

You were incredibly lucky - or those guys were plain weird. You could argue that someone looking for a lone woman to attack wouldn't be hanging around on a deserted road in the hope that one might just drive by, but I think there are weirdos who get their kicks from doing just that. So yes - you were right to drive on.
