How to propose if you liked somebody?

It's the real story of my life. By chatting I was in contact with a gul. In real life once I got chance to meet with her. After meeting I found she was already in love with someone else. Our places we far form each others'. At our first meeting she gave me her whole day. she guided me to her places and gave me company by bunking to her class. Whole day we had fun with talkies, walks, fruits and sharing of feelings. I found myself like I am totally lost in her. Her responce was quite positive with no resistance. We keep continue with mobile phones, because we were far in physical place distance. But we were carelessly talking by mobile as we were face to face. One day she asked me, "Are you in love?". I replied, "In love! and me! how could be I in love, the person like me!". From that day I found myself unlucky. I terminated LOVE way that way to tending towards me. She has got married with her own beloved. I can't do anything. Nowadays I am single yet. I realise, I deed mistake and commit a crime to myself and somehow to her as well. At that time it was my first time and being unknown to all these matters, I face failure. Now I want know, what are the ideas that's most effective and let no chances to get "NO" in reply.
