seems like texting is not a luxury anymore but a need. i've just heard form the news that text messaging will cost higher than the usual rate. this means that free text services will be eliminated. we have lots of financial constraints and this will add to our sufferings.will you be a villain?

Phone companies cannot change present contract details. As long as you are under your present contract it will be the same. Now, they may change it when it is time to renew your contract. I have not heard this. We all have so many different phone carriers so I don't think it will be accross the board. It is something to pay attention to though! Thanks for the head's up!!

it's all over the news here in our place. they decide to pass to the consumers the charges of taxes that the government employed to them.it's so sad that this will be implemented soon.

Well, right now I have a year left on my contract so they can't change it all up midstream! If when it is time to renew the contract it becomes too expensive, I can live without it!!

I haven't hear of that issue.. Well, if that's the case, it will affect our communications.. Of course teenagers will be sad because they can't enjoy texting let's say Php20.00, it's the 24-hour unlimited text messaging fee.. but when free text services will be eliminated, Php20.00 will be much much lesser than usual..

i won't agree with that. it's the only thing that people enjoyed much because almost all of the people , rich and poor can enjoy the low cost of texting, how come the government targets this issue/ are we sure that the tax coming from it, would all reach to what they plan to do?
