How much do you hate all the stupid automated systems?

What ever happened to the days when you dialed a number and a person answered on the other end. I can not stand all the automated systems, I refuse to even follow the prompts anymore. I usually just hit 0, over and over again until i get a real live person on the phone. I mean I know its suppose to help you get you through quicker, but its just plain annoying. Oh and the ones you can talk to are even worse, if i hear "we did not understnad your command" one more time im going to scream. Any opions on this................?

oh yeah who doesn't hate nothing is more insulting than having a machine with preset answers "trying" to help you when i call for help or service i want to talk to someone thats the whole point of it. 0 and # pressing them alot seems to work for the most part its just a pain and such an incovience sometimes you spend more time with the answering machine than the actual person him or herself.
