Somehow I feel that the secondhand books are worth the discounted prices and we do have a second hand books market in sector 15, which provides books at 60% discount to people of all walks of life, especially students who are always haveing cash crunch!

yes, used books are available at many thrift stores around our area which we go to quite ofte. however, i tend to not buy any used books but rather go to the local library to borrow a book, that way, i dont have to keep it on my shelves!

Yup, we have shops that sell pre-owned books and a lot of people purchase books here. It's really practical and I have found a lot of good books and reference materials. The only drawback is that you can't expect these kinds of shops to have all the titles that you want.

Yes, there's a store like that here where I live. They don't always have what I'm looking for but now and then I've come across something else that I've enjoyed. It's nice to pay a lower price for a book, especially if it's not one you're too sure about. If it turns out bad, then at least you didn't spend a lot on the book. They also buy books, which comes in handy if you ever need some extra cash. It may not be a lot of money but at least it's more than what you had before.

Yep, we sure do have a lot of second hand bookstore. But the largest is called "Book Sale". Sure most of them are old though some are new. And depending upon how old the book is, one could get it for only P30. Ive seen some 100 page books that are sold for only P15 and the possible cheapest book that Ive come across with is sold for only P10. Pesos and Rupees have the same value I think.

I have a local used book store that i love. They buy sell and trade used books, so its really convenient if i buy a book and dont like it i go can trade it for a different one. I prefer buying used books because its cheaper and you can get really good deals.
