Is Lebron James Now Better Than Kobe Bryant?

I think so as Lebron has had to carry his team more in the playoffs over the years. Kobe tried to carry and do a lot for his team before he got the help he does now and did not make it as far as Lebron into the playoffs. I don't think even made it to the Western Conference Finals like Lebron has but Lebron has gotten to the Finals depending more on himself to do more work. Lebron should no doubt win a championship whether it be this year or later on but please give Lebron more backup. I'm sure plenty of really good players would be glad to get traded to the Cavs to play on Lebrons team.

I lost a lot of respect for Lebron walking off the court after the game and not shaking the hands of the Magic players. Kobe and Carmelo gave each other a hug thats what people with good sportsmanship do. I don't think Lebron is better than Kobe. Kobe is better because he was able to help his team advance farther in playoffs than Lebron did.

Someone said that they're both "lucky" to get this far - just a minor correction, luck has nothing to do with it - talent, dedication, perseverance. Just like "championship swag" has nothing to do with it - I mean everyone thought that Denver has that "championship swag." Where are they now? Gone fishin'! Kobe and Lebron are extremely talented - however, basketball is not a one-man show. Who is better? I can't say because I don't watch CAVS play every night like I watched Lakers game all through the season. I do know that Kobe is a better game closer!

I find both Lebron and Kobe good. Aside from that, both are lucky to be part of teams who both made it this far in the conference this year. Good for them.

Kobe has been in the League for 13 years now, & only a single season that the Lakers didn't made it to the playoff w/ him. As far as playoff experiences are concern, Kobe maybe have had the most & greatest winning moments compare to Lebron. He even bested MJ (the greatest of all time) in clutch shots made. Even during the Laker's Dynasty in 1999-2002, It was Kobe bryant who makes big shots & not Shaq, though Shaq presence in the paint is a big nerve for the opposing team back then. It is still early to say that lebron is better than Kobe, stats maybe, but not greatness... MJ is the best of all time, period.

If Kobe wins a championship this year the question of whether he is better or Lebron is better will be put to bed for another year. Lebron is going to hear about his playoff exit and his "lack of class" in those final moments all summer. The youngster is going to do a little maturing over the coming year. We'll see whose better next spring.
