Do you add every interest?

Many times I get notifications of friend's discussions that are in interests I've not added yet. Sometimes I'll add those interests after responding, sometimes I don't. I've never really thought much about why I do it this way. I don't like dogs, so if I respond to my friend's discussion about a dog, I probably won't add the interest just because I don't like dogs. What about you? Would there be a reason for you not to add an interest?

A majority of the time I do not add the interest of a discussion. For example, when you write a discussion about shopping I don't add it because I really don't like shopping but since I do shop I can respond to some of the discussions. I think I have only added 2 or 3 interests ever.

Wow, only 2 or 3? You know shopping can mean more than just going out and buying yourself lots of junk. Grocery shopping is a form of shopping too.

I added interests when I first joined myLot but because I answer discussions primarily from my friends I've not bothered since. In my case, it doesn't matter if I've interests added or not.

No, like you I don't add every interest. Because sometimes it just doesn't interest me to do so! LOL However, there have been a few instances where I didn't add the interest and after responding to a few discussions that interest would come up time and time again. Eventually I'd just say heck with it and I give in and add it! LOL

No, iof I am not interested in a topic then I will not add it. Doesn't make sense to me. have enough trouble keeping up with my interest as it is!
