What do you do or have you done to improve yourself in any way?

I have to improve my patience with one of my family members. I seem to be able to be patient with almost anyone, but then this one family member, who I dearly love, comes along and I get so frustrated and impatient with them. They hardly ever know that, I mean I don't let them see it, but I know I need to concentrate on being patient with everyone. It doesn't say anything good about me if I can't be patient with someone I love a lot.

Hai Ambie, maybe it helps if you shift your focus from the thing that this person is doing, to something that this person does that quite amazes you or that you yourself would like to do. you know, find some common ground. hope it helps :)

After I retired a month ago, I decided to learn about blogging to keep my mind active. So instead of watching television, I now spend more time writing, researching materials, and learning more about blogging. I think I am actually doing more things and learning more things in retirement than when I was working. I think for us retirees, the secret to long life is keeping your mind and life active.

i would definitely like to improve my self confidence. there have been times when i know and i believe that i can do a certain job or task but when the time comes, i become very hesitant to take it. i have refused lots of tasks and jobs just because of my lack of self confidence.
