are you scared and afraid to go outside and run around nowadays because of swine flu?It is normal for most people to go out for shopping or go to other public and crowded places .What is your way of greeting new friends or when you meet somebody or someone you already know somewhere ?Do you shake their hands or hug each other and kiss them?

i now prefer to stay at home unless i really need to go out or go to the mall to buy some stuff simply because i am also scared to catch the flu. instead of going to the theaters to watch movies, i only buy dvds. i always carry a face towel every time i go out of the house so when someone coughs or sneezes, i could easily cover my nose. i also carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer so even if i have to make contact with other people like a hand shake, i could get my hands clean again before going home to prevent the spread or transfer of any virus or germs to my family especially my kid. better be safe than sorry right?

All you need to do is educate yourself in learning how to prevent catching the flu in the first place. Don't put your life on hold. Do some research.http://howtotreatflusymptoms.blogspot.com/ Check out the flu watch a little further in the site.

I'm not scared of the swine flu, just wary. It hasn't shown to be nearly as bad as they said it'd be -- yet. It acts mostly like the regular flu and mostly kills people in poor areas, where peoples' immune systems really suck. There have been a few cases in my area, but no deaths. Same thing for the neighboring states. Most of the deaths, what few there have been...have been in Texas and its neighbors, and New York (which is infamous for having the healthy diets being more expensive than crappy diets). I'm still living my life as normal until the swine flu decides to be more nasty...which I'm not even confident it will.

Since I teach in a school with more than 3,000 kids, there's no way to avoid crowds. We teacher do what we've always done, which includes a lot of hand washing and antibacterial hand sanitizer. We also pass along a lot of tissues and give the students hand sanitizer. We make them very aware of the possibilities, and expect them to be mature (I teach high school seniors). We also send them home if they're sick. They insist on hugs and kisses a lot more than any of us would like, but they know we're cautious.

Very recently, I had to go to the emergency room at a nearby hospital to see about an ear infection I've been having. The first time I was there, I spent 8.5 hours there, the next time, I spent three or so hours before seeing the doctor. Not long after that, I started feeling horrible, so...who knows what the other patients in the ER had? :(

I'm not afraid of the Swine Flu at all. I think the media has had it too "hyped up". From what I've heard, if you get it, you won't die if you get treated. I believe that if people take good care of their health, they will be able to protect themselves against this virus. You need to eat well, get enough sleep, and wash your hands frequently.

I think by doing the right prevention, we can prevent ourselves from swine flu. I always wash my hand anytime i come back from outsite and also gargling. I think those ways are quite helpful for flu prevention. Although there's no swine flu suspect in my city so far, but i think it just a matter of time since people nowadays have higher mobility than before. But i hope the swine flu problem can be solved soon. Hope the medicine for that disease will invented soon. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
