Have you ever bought or sold anything on Craigslist?
A few years ago I found an apartment on Craigslist. I ended up emailing the person and checking it out. Not too weird, because people find apartments online or call about them all the time and meet up with someone they don't know to see them.
Well last night I made my first sale on Craigslist! I sold my camera to a nice couple. We had planned to meet up at McDonalds. I was of course nervous, because this was my first time doing this, so I definitely made my fiancee come along with me. The couple ended up being so nice! I gave them the camera, they asked some questions and then paid me the money. I was really nervous about it, but it ended up turning out just fine!

I am a pro at craigslist. I have rented out one of my houses a few times using it and i have found a part time job through it too.
I have bought and sold many things there too. The largest item was a dining room hutch that I had in a storage unit. My son who is 15 buys and sells on it too. He bought a racing go kart used it a few months then traded it on craigslist for 2 dirt bikes. He just saw a skateboard half pipe listed for 50 dollars and he went over to see it with his sister and when he got home i asked him how it was and he said the people were so nice they are giving it to him for nothing and even delivering it over the weekend. He can charm anyone into anything. He might be a politician one day! ha ha
Last week we bought my daughter a 95 ford escort off of craigslist too. I am not sure what we would do without it.
I have been getting nervous since there were those 2 incidents. One was the guy who attacked women and the other was local here in NC a guy met another person ina crowded parking lot to buy something small and he robbed him. didnt hurt him but it just reminds me that anything can happen. I would not stop doing it though - just be more careful.

We bought a car on Craigslist. The seller was a college student who had recently graduated and wanted to get rid of his car. He wanted $600 for it. We offered $500 because it did need some work. We had to drive over an hour to meet with him. We bought the car and drove it home with us. We did put in about $1000 over the next 2 years, but the car is in really good shape and we will most likely have it for another couple of years if all goes well.
