how to start my own business besides open a shop online?

The Best ways I have ever found to sell things via online besides opening my own Store, is to sell via Craigslist or Ebay. Lately it seems like things I do that include Sales online are with sites that already include a Web Site, but I think a lot of it is what works best for each person as well. Wishing you the Best.
