We all makes mistakes, no doubt about that. Some are small; some very large. I feel that the biggest mistake I've made in life was staying to long in a very detrimental marriage. It had a long-term negative impact on great areas of my life. I am glad to be out and starting fresh. What is your biggest mistake ever, and how has it impacted your life?Karen

My biggest mistakes, as with many people, seem to have a lasting impact, consequences, thus it is best for me to learn and not repeat them. I congratulate you highly on your long marriage : ) Have a beautiful night. Karen

I try never to look back on things and situations which I might have at one time called mistakes, I now look at these as lessons which I needed to learn, the longer I live the more aware I become that everything that comes my way is part of the learning process. Nothing in the past can be changed so why not observe it as part of the present and future. Blessings

I like your way of looking at this. And you are right, nothing about the past can be changed. Sometimes, the best lessons DO come from our mistakes. I think this is something we realize with maturity more than in our young years. Thank you, Pat. Karen

Aww, I'm sorry you're not impressed yet. Who we choose as a mate is one of the biggest impacts on our life. I hope things improve for you. Karen

I would have to say my biggest mistake was moving from New York to New Mexico. I've been here two years as much as I like it, I've been out of work for a year and it gets me so depressed at times. I have worked for 32 years and have money in the bank that will last me for a bit but not getting up each morning to go to work I feel like I'm not accomplishing anything in my life. I am taking a course learning to write children's books and I'm watching my granddaughter while my daughter and son-in-law go to work but this does not pay the bills and I don't want to continue living this way. So for that reason and only that reason I feel this was my biggest mistake in my life.

You did move a long way! Perhaps as you continue your classes and find work, it will make a great difference in your current life. I hope so : ) Thank you for sharing your experience. Karen
