Twittering or on mylot at work?It will make you be a better employee,according to an Australlian study that shows surfing the internet for fun during office hours increases productivity. The University of Melbourne study showed that people who use the internet for personal reasons at word are about 9 percent more productive that those who do not.Study author from the department of management and marketing ,said "workplace internet leisure browsing ,"or WILB,helped to sharpened workers'concentration.

I beg to be different as twittering, on mylot or facebook during working hours can cause lapse of concentration on the work on hand as we will tend to put in more time in responding to the messages. This will break the rhythm of the productivity. This can be addressed by the user himsef/herself by imposing a strict self discipline while on work. It all come back to the self control.

I think employee should focus and concentrate only to their work.It will increase the productivity of company.I learn management and know why employee should just focus on their job and not waste their time on work part time by use computer company or chatting in twitter or friendster.When they go back at home,they can do what they want.
