My question is what do you think pc gamers or any business computers should have installed in their PC. And also specify a reason for your answer. I personally think that they must install Windows Vista and install Windows 7 when the full version comes out. My reason for choosing Vista is that it supports DX 10 for games and is more Stable for working and multimedia purposes. What do you think .... ?

real gamers have their OS in such a way that it wont affect their VGA memory.for which XP is the best i think.vista or & will eat your RAM.xp is much lighter than vista or winows 7.my recommendation as IT expert and gamer is windows xp.it will keep your games smooth and fun to play.

Windows 7 has only 25 MB Footprint though, lower than XP and Vista. This is because the new Kernel on Windows 7. Lighter than XP or Vista that use NT Kernel. And BTW, Windows 7 is using WinMin kernel.

Yes i agree with you on the point that Windows is indeed the best OS for computer games. But i personally prefer XP more than Vista. Yes Vista does support DX10 but i just don't like the fact that the OS requires 2gb RAM to run

I would say that for gamers, Windows is probably the best OS to have. Despite the fact that it's not the most stable OS, it is the one that most games are designed to work with. Many game companies also release versions of their game that are compatible with Mac or Linux, but these versions tend to be more expensive.
