First of all, I just want to make clear that I do believe in my Jesus. But some days ago I met with this man at the bar, and he said that he didn't believe in God. When I ask why he said a very interesting reason. He said, I will quote,"When all thing is good, you call it's God blessing, but when all thing goes bad, you call it "God work in mysterious way", I go to the church every sunday morning and I never do bad things to people, but why He took all my family in an instant. many people said to me "You have to be strong,God have a plan, you must have a faith for Him,He work mysteriously." What do you think of this man? Please give your opinion. And sorry for the bad English

that man seems honest to me. believers do not know what they are talking. they just believe and tell things they heard at church or what the priests tell when questioned. priests are people with no personal experience of who and what god is. believer are the worst kind of people i have ever come across. they are the most stupid and criminal minded and dishonest ones. to glorify god, they will stoop to any level. does god need this glorifications? just take some time out and think. do you think god interferes in everything that is happening on this earth? if he interferes, then what is the difference between him and us. what is god is not taught in chuches, what is taught is how to obey like a slave. God needs people with self respect, not slaves who believe in things blindly.

I completely disagree with you. I see your point on the wars and such in Gods name.... however... that does not discribe every person that believes in God. I do not like the wars in Gods name... and I am certainly not stupid or criminal minded... or dishonest for that matter. I do not push my beliefs on people, and I do not call them stupid for their beliefs. And I dont believe what i believe because it was pushed on me... I believe it because that is what I feel in my heart to be real! I do however, feel sorry for those who have nothing to believe in and have faith in, to me it seems like there would be a horrible void in your life. But.. still yet.. I would never push my beliefs on them either. So before you go calling people stupid please dont try pushing your beliefs on people either. Thanks

Italysmom, Thanks for disagreeing with me. So before you go calling people stupid please dont try pushing your beliefs on people either. Did i push my beliefs on you? In that case I would have asked to straight to give up your faith and start following my way. All that I said is i find believers stupid in their behaviour. that is my view. I see your point on the wars and such in Gods name priests have a vested interest. their craft can last only as long as they hide the real intention behind it. for that they will do anything. history is proof of their acts. lie, deception, fraud etc. not necessarily wars as you seem to assume. I do however, feel sorry for those who have nothing to believe in and have faith in, to me it seems like there would be a horrible void in your life. You don't need to feel sorry for me. that means you want to intervene while denying that you are not pushing your faith on others. this is subtle coercive method. I have something to believe, that is in myself. if it seems horrible void to you, so be it. I live a life of a content man. I trust myself, considers myself capable of achieving my goals. i have been taught that god accepts only self respecting individuals, not beggars who surrender meekly. Sweetchariot, In the Bible it says that Jesus instructed his disciples to go about doing his work, in his name. jesus could have done his work, if he was capable. this sentence gives out a message how cunning jesus was, to get his work done through others in his name. precisely this is how priests live off the masses without doing any work themselves. he could have told his disciples to do the work. that was the right way. jesus was merely taking credit for the work done by his disciples.

In the Bible it says that Jesus instructed his disciples to go about doing his work, in his name. But if someone refused to listen, they should just brush off their feet, and walk away, from that person. As I read your response...my actions are to brush the dirt off my feet and walk away. Your comments are not worth replying to, and certainly not worth trying to explain things to.

Well we believe what we see and dont believe what we dont.but many times things which we see betray us and things which we dont stay with us, like people betray us in relations but still we believe, but air never betray us even if we dnt see it, it keps flowing making us live and breath.similarly god is everywhere within us in the air in the sun and the moon in our heart whatever good things happen god is there, i believe it.

Yeah...you see, this is exactly why I started this discussion. What you said it's that you only believe to God because for all the good thing, what happen if the bad things happen to you? Do you still have a faith in Him?

This man is highly intelligent. It seems he has realised the futility of believing in God. Whether God exists or not, to think he will help or protect us, to think that he has got a plan for us is absurd nonsense. It is we ourselves who have to go and earn for our daily bread, it is we ourselves that have to face our difficulties with courage. No God comes to help you unless you imagine it. Those who say that God has heard their prayers and has worked miracles in their life are only imagining things. The mind is so powerful it can imagine anything. If you feel that a rock will create miracle in your life by praying to the rock, then definitely a miracle will happen in your life. It is a matter of faith, but it does not matter in whom you place your faith. This man in your post has started thinking for himself. He has realized the absurdity of believing in God.

I was raised a Christian and with the belief in God and I guess that I do believe. I do for certain believe that I would rather live my life as though there were and find out there is not, than live it as though there were no God and find out there was.

First of all i will appreceiate you for choosing this topic as discussion. if you can beleive and is sure about your existance you can make sure that there is a God. According to me nothing exists in this world without the plan and purpose of some source, and i believe it is God.

I belive in God and Jesus also. I don't think that the man that told you that about your family sad it right. There is a reason for everything but it's hard to say what really caused what happened with your family.

well ya i beleive in god.. and if the thing is about happening good or bad things to us then its all god's work.. i he prepare something good for us then he even prepare us for bad things even.. it doesn't mean that god is bad. it just means that we have done something bad and we are getting a bad result of it in return from god..

i think he just loose his faith to God because of what's happening in his life...well in this case i can say that he don't trust on what God can do... remember the story of job in the bible? not only he lost all his children, he also lost all his properties, even got a disease and his wife who suppose to support him is the one who's condemning God, but what job do? he never loose his faith...he never ask why to God, he never turns his back on Him...he continue on praying and worshiping God...and with that, God saw how faithful job to Him...therefore job pass the tests given to him and God gives back all that job lost and even doubled it... see, sometimes we got problems and difficulties, hardships in our lives because God is testing us...it doesn't mean He don't love us...but still sometimes God gave things to us as punishment so its important that we know how to read on things that's happening to us... no matter what other people say...nothing can change my belief that God do exists! no questions ask! thanks and have a nice day! :-)

I do believe in God very much. I dont know how your family was taken,,,, and I am so very sorry that it happened to you, however, God gave us free will. There are good and bad things about free will. The good thing is that we are what we are, we make mistakes and we learn from them, however, the bad thing is that often times, when we make a mistake, it effects other people.Such as the people that started doing things to pollute ... its not just them that has to deal with it... its everyone... sometimes the mistake only hurts us.. but sometimes it hurts us to bad. But, I do believe in God, and the big plan he had in my opinion was to give us free will to do what we will do.
