What type of person do you categorize yourself into, user of an expensive handset or being exactly the opposite and using a simple one just to do the basic things like talking ? And how attached do you find yourself with your mobile ?

I usually go for a mobile phone, that had all the useful function with it. My current mobile phone had all the useful functions of talking, sms, mms, taking picture, recording songs, can play songs and even act as a radio function. I think i need to have an update mobile phone, so when i am not at home, i can still enjoy my favorite songs as well taking some favorite pictures for rememberance. But, i don't go for very expensive mobile phone. Because i am not buying the latest version mobile phone. I buy mobile phone that's usually 2 -3 years ago version. So, it's cheaper in price but still have the important functions that i need..

i am a kind of satisfied with what i have...kind of person...if i dont have enough to spend, then i go without that thing which is not so essentail for me...so there is nothing that i cant live without, except the five basic elements of life......but as i have enough to get a better quality mobile, so i have it with functions like cameras, video recordings etc etc, that are mostly available with most of the sets these days....but it was ok for me, if it was a basic one also....if my budget didnt allow me, then i can live with my landline also, i have purchased the mobile just 2 years back...

I just have a basic home phone, nothing else. I've never gotten around to feeling the need for any kind of cell phone, although, I'm sure that I would probably be very attached very quickly if I ever got one. The really cool phones, with applications, headsets, and all sorts of other features do look pretty good though. Awfully tempting.

Mobile is to talk .......... so why we use high price mobile ? If there is huge function... means yours mobile circuit is more complex , complected .... so use simple mobile for more longevity ... mobile = talk , camera = capture photo, i-pod = listen music .. watch video .. isn't it ?

It depends. Usually, I'm not that picky when it comes to the model of the phone that I'm using since phone companies come out with something new practically every month. It's difficult to keep track of these units. Hahaha. But I'm only human and it's part of our nature that we sometimes are never satisfied with whatever it is that we have. I am guilty. There are times that I want to have an uber nice phone that is a bit pricey. Can't help it.

Hello tuyakiki, I have no problems to live without a cell phone. It might cause an uncomfortable life for me but still, I can live without a cell phone. I don't need an expensive or up to date cell phone too as I seldom use it. My cell phone is only to receive calls and texting. I seldom use my cell phone to make calls even...

I will choose a simple one just to do the basic needs like talking and messaging.People who have expensive phones keep losing their phones most of the time because thieves around them are attracted.I am very much attached to my mobile as it helps me keep in touch with friends. It takes photos for me when i like and i can also listen to music on long boring journeys.

I use my mobile all the time for texting, internet and making calls. I have an iPhone which I think is brilliant. It is an expensive handset but I have a good contract so didnt have to pay that much.

i have a simple life so a simple mobile phone would do for me. however some people, due to work, really cannot go simple with their phones for they need a lot of things to do and they have to have a gadget that can go with them anywhere. so a sophisticated mobile phone does this for them. how attached am i to my mobile phone? not really. it's just a means of communication and i'm 34 years old . i have my own life and two lives to pay attention to.

i am using a very old nokia model. it costs only singapore dollars 59 dollars. i dont really understand people who finds branded and expensive handphones cooler than cheaper ones. unless you are doing a business that needs you to check your mail box regularly, i dont see the need for a fancy handphone like iphone or blackberry.

hi there, well as far as i am concerned i am a very simple person and simplicity is my policy. Well therefore it does not matter to me if phones are expensive or not. Well actually to be honest there are only a few things that i looked foward to. Firstly if the battery actually has a long life span, secondly i look at the reception capability thirdly i look at the internet capability and finally the overall cost of the phone, to see if it actually is worth buying. Well basically thats is what i actually see in phones. expensive phone dont really fancy me but again if it is worth spending that amount of money for the specifications i have stated ontop then why not. But It does not really matter to me. Anyway have a nice day and happy mylotting. best regards, alvingb

I don't replace my phone unless it can't be fixed. The only time I replaced my phone was because I was given a newer one as a gift and my parents said it would be rude if I didn't use it. I wouldn't buy an out-dated phone because it would be hard to fix if it ever needed to be fixed. But I also wouldn't buy really fancy ones because I usually don't use the other features of my phone. I can't leave home without my phone. I bring it everywhere. It's not the phone I'm attached to, actually. It's the people I talk to and exchange texts with.

No,i stil can live without expensive handset.I can use a cheaper one because i dont want to waste my money for something that i really dont need enough and expensive.I still can use a cheap handset because it has a same funtion and purpose to make call or sms.Maybe it jsut cant share a picture with other people because do not have camera and other functions that i not need.

Right now I am happy as long as I have a camera on my phone and I can text. I would love to have a Blackberry so I can get on the internet with I am not home and stay caught up on my emails.

I am not a rich person .I would rather try an expensive mobil phone than actually have one .Because I always leave things every where.I think I have a big chance to lost it.Well, to tell you the truth, I have never used mobil phone since high school.so I don't think you can't live without it.Sometimes it is just you don't want to, not you can't. Happy today

Hi tuyakiki...I do not have a mobile phone becasue we do not have any signal within at least 25 miles of where we live. They just are not a useful item for me to have. Probably if I were ever to be taking a long car trip to somewhere I may buy one of those trac phones to take with me in case of emergency, but for now my landline phone is all I need. flutterby

I prefer having the simpler ones for many reasons, one of which is the cost. The maximum sophistication i can go with is a camera that can take decent pictures. I often see people go mobile-frenzy and spending a lot over this simple piece of electronics. I wonder how they would react when some component breaks or if they loose thier expensive cell phones. I would seriously go wild and crazy! :)

I used to using a simple cell phone, only calling and sending message are indispensably required function. But now I desperately want a cell phone that has a OS on it, so that I can surf internet easily.
