I am a bit puzzled on how things are regulated as to downloading music and similar material of the internet? Is it legal to use p2p networks in your country? In my country it is legal as long as you don't distribute or share it.

Well some counties have odd laws like in the US if someone from another country is caught Downloading music illegal from a us site they will be punished by us law. Vise Verse for a us person stealing music from a foreign site. Your country cant protect you from other country's laws so don't break them. =)

I am not really in this situation, since i do not try to download song in other sites except to the one i use to. The only thing i experienced was, i can not view some music videos because it was not allowed to view where i come from.

Absolutely no. There are people in my country who have had to pay even millions when they have been caught downloading illegal music, movies, software etc.
