Who knows about ContentCurrent?

On another discussion I heard about ContentCurrent.com, which interests me as a writer. I found the site but can't find anything on it about payments, other than you have to give them a paypal address so they can pay writers weekly. Do you know what sort of rates they pay? And is this always for full rights with no byline?

It is very important to know how much you can expect from sites that ask you to write for them. I myself have tried helium but there was no money to be made for me there. I guess I am not cut out to be a writer. Cheers!!

Don't dismiss yourself that easily. If you want to write, just do it. It's hard to make money at Helium. I've found that you have to keep submitting articles there to get any return, but it's a good way to supplement my other earnings from non-exclusive articles.

Their original site was called ForumBooster. They paid 10 cents per forum post and they paid $4 per 250 word article and $6 per 500 word article. Yes, this is for full rights with no byline. The problem is - they don't pay their writers. Here's their forum. Read it and once you get past the useless spam comments you'll see hundreds of writers complaining about not being paid. http://www.forumbooster.net/paid_forum_posting/

Thanks for the warning. I'll probably give them a miss.
