For all scented candle lovers, I recently checked out the candle and home decor section at Walmart. To my surprise, I smelled the most wonderful candles. With summer coming I found these new apple scented gel candles. They smell absolutely applicious. The gel is pretty cool too. Just say'n don't pass up the candle section at Walmart. The candles come in all sorts of sizes and are affordable. Never overpriced. I love Walmart!

I agree with you Walmart does have some AWESOME candles.. and then some that are really aweful, i like gel candles too,... I hope to start making my own candles soon. I think it will be alot of fun to creat different scent combinations.. ect. My grandma got me a candle from Walmart once that had like 4 different scents, and when you burn through one layer it turns to a different one. its really nice. however,,,, I HATE walmart... well i wouldnt go so far to say Hate... but, its the only choice we have to shop here where I live without driving like 85 miles one way, so, they are not as friendly and as great of a store as other walmarts. but, it is nice to have the conv. of doing all of your shopping in one stop :-)

I dont blame you for "hating" Walmart. I think everybody does! LOL! its the damn prices and the convenience of it all. That place attracts the weirdest people. Anyhow, good luck on making your own candles. Homemade, handmade candles are the best. Wish you the best. I bet you could pick up all your candle-making supplies at Walmart. They may even have a candle-making kit. Just kidding! Seriously, enjoy learning how to make candles.

i've actually been trying to find those candles for quite sometime, i think they might have been discontinued. just to clarify, the candles i'm talking about were in masonesque jars with black tin lids with apple slices in the gel. do you happen to remember the name of the brand?
