I was just wondering there are so many evil people in life who get all the things that they want and get all best things in life........but the ones who pray more frequently get all persecutions in life, they have more troubles than the rest of the people....... I really feel it is worth going though all these problems as on the judgment day we all will be rewarded..... But sometimes i really feel frustrated and ten to think why does god allow all this to happen......cant he just silence the enemies for good....and give all the Christians who lead a religious life all the good things..........

Yes, it's true that bad people sometimes get all the things they want and the best things in life. Just remember they will pay for it someday, though. Like you said, there's going to be a judgment day someday. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. I think we all get frustrated sometimes and wonder why God allows bad things to happen. The only thing we can do is pray. Things don't always work out the way we think they should, though. Kathy.

We think that the ones we consider evil are getting all the good things, but where there is money there is greed, where there is greed there is unhappiness, where there is unhappiness, there is money, where there is money there is a broken family. Maybe that's not always the case, but I think that there are some people who are seemingly living a good life but really aren't. Think of all the stars, they aren't living the best life because you hear about it all the time on t.v., and whether it's all completely true, we don't know, but some are bound to believe that it all is. Lord Knows, I have in the past. I think that living the best that you can with a smile on your face and a prayer in your heart is the best way to be, don't worry about all those others who are bad people but are living a good life, we really don't know that they are. God is a very mysterious person, he may be giving them what they want, but what price are they paying?

No, I do not think so, I do not think we have more problems and trials, we all do. We all have issues and have times in our lives in which we think there is no way anyone else is going through this. As Christians we often admit to our problems and to what is going wrong with us and as a way to grow, we do not hid the bad, we admit that things are not always rosy peachy keen.

Hi John...I don't think God wants us to go without things but then again why should he give us things he doesn't think we need. God has always provided for our needs be it physical or spiritual and he doesn't want us to be jealous of what others have. I have never regretted not having what my neighbors have. As long as I have a home, warmth, food and clothing for my body that I have all I need. The rest would just be unnecessary things. flutterby

Yes "evil" people get the good stuff but remember that when you choose to follow God and Jesus you don't choose to follow humanity's ways. God does not promise success in life, He promises that you will have a good time AFTER you die if you did good things and followed His teachings which is much better since living in Paradise for all eternity seems to beat this world we live in today in my opinion. When you choose christianity you choose to cultivate your spirit and you are supposed to throw away the attachments to material things in your life.

I think most people who are religious (I mean those who are super and extremely religious) tend to have more problems than those who are not too religious. I can say that basing only on my experience. My mom is so religious and until now she is. Then they joined this one religion that is like getting more and more members. They even spend their weekends with attending some of the activities of the said religion but then they failed to give more time with my brothers in the province. I am here in the city because I never grew up with my parents. To make the story short, since they become more religious problems pour on them. I guess the reason is that they are just pretending and giving more time with the religion. My mom is a vegetable vendor, my father is jobless. They have been in that kind of set up for more than five years now. They are feeding five mouths. I pity my brothers but I can not help them because as of now I have no job yet and still waiting for my interview schedule. I have a husband and a baby to take care of. So no matter how I want to help them I can't. I have been helping them before when I was still single but I did not see any change in their attitudes especially my father. So I guess they have to learn their lessons. I have nothing against being religious but then if you have problems then why not solve them first before engaging yourself into activities you know will eat your time and will left your family with no choice? You have to move and work. But my mom always keeps secret of the wrong doings of my father. And she even cover him up with some kind of health problems which for me were not new. They were all excuses. If they want to work to send the kids of school, they should. My mom is already tired, complaining a lot. But then I gave her all the options I could think of. She never listens. I am done with my part. They have to help themselves and stop pretending in front of their fellow religious people that they are okay. But at home they are really not. I guess we should learn how to set priorities. I myself is not a religious person. In fact I never go to church. Same as my husband. But we have a better life than my parents. I have helped them because they are my family but they should also help themselves. I just pity my younger brothers who have nothing to eat sometimes. Maybe when I get a work again I could give some to them. But not to my parents especially my father who totally depends on the earnings of my mom. They should quit the religion they were in, because they are not even giving full attention to my five younger brothers. They have failed in giving attention to me and my sister so they should give their full love and care to my younger brothers now. Anyway religion is not so good if it is done over. And if it does not help, and even eats most of your time then why continue it? It won't feed you. It has nothing to do with the way you communicate with God or with whom you believe. You can have a relation with Him without having a religion because as I have said before in one of the discussions here, religion is just a name, a tag and an organization created by men. Your faith is what makes you a strong and your belief will and attitude will help you solve problems. Not a religion.

Hey John, I understand your frustration in you thinking that. But you must understand that in today's world we are fighting not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness. You see, the enemy (satan, devil or whatever you call him) is out there roaming around the world like a toothless lion, seeking whom he may devour. Now it makes no sense for him to inflict pain and misery on those that don't believe God because he knows that those belong to him. So he brings on all these trials and temptations so that we may give up and say God is not there and then we join him. But on the other hand, God allows us to go through trials and tribulations because he is testing us to see if we really mean business in following him. Besides, you must understand that every time there is a trial or tribulation, that means that God is getting ready to promote you to a higher level. But you need to prove to God that you love him with all your heart, soul and all your strength. You cannot get promoted without you proving yourself that you deserve to be promoted. It's like working in an office. The boss will only promote you if you prove to him that you are worthy of a bigger task than what you are doing now. Remember what the bible says in James 1:2 "count it all joy my brethren when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness, and let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." So every time problems come my way, I know that God is getting ready to bless me even more so I stand firm in his word. As long as you are a christian today, you cannot escape trials and tribulations. They are there to help us to grow and it is a method of proving to God that you really want him in your life. It is not enough to just say I love God and end the story there. So don't be afraid when problems come. They are there to uplift and upgrade us to a new level with God.

I don't think so. What did you mean with 'get all best things in life'? Did you mean the money? I don't think that the evil people get all best things in life. But if it's refer to more money, it could be right. The reason is they do illegal things. They won't afraid about the sin since they are not religious. As a religious person, we shouldn't envied them. We know which are good and which are bad. All best things in life are just temporary. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Your reward is in heaven - be Kingdom minded. As a christian - who truly believe that this life is preparation for the life in heaven, then we shouldn't be too concern with worldly possessions. The BIBLE is our basic instructions before leaving earth - which guides us in our walk while we're here. So, no I don't think "religious people" have more problems - they're just not kingdom minded enough.

The more problems we have the stronger person we can be if we could pass all of struggles. I guess religious people have more problems to test them.
