Does any body know how earnings are calculated?

The only person who knows hoe we earn here on myLot is the admin. In the FAQs we are told: [i]'How do I calculate my earnings? Discussion activity earnings are calculated based on a proprietary model that rewards quality responses, relevant discussions and images.'[/i] http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15 In the discussion Guidelines we are also told: 'Don't Post anything that inaccurately explains the myLot earnings algorithm. Our myLot mathematicians have worked long and hard on our elaborate payment system and we wouldn’t want any of our users to make them feel inadequate by breaking their algorithm in minutes.' http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx We are paid for our own activity so if you start a discussion and it receives many responses you will only earn if you comment back to them. It is the users who posted them that will be earning for them. If you think less about the earnings and more about having fune here your earnings will increase without you realising it. Good luck!

No, I don't think there's an exact formula for our earnings.At first I thought I would earn more if I post discussions and get bunches of answers, but I was wrong.Maybe it depends on the common activity here,ratings.I don't think it's possible to figure out how these earnings are calculated.This is one of Mylot's biggest secrets,I guess.Happy Mylotting.

Earnings, here on myLot, are based on quantity and quality. The better your responses, and the longer they are, the more you get paid. If you just leave brief responses to other people's discussions, you are not going to get paid very well. If you leave long responses, and they are rated good in quality as well, you will get paid more. I think I have been paid as much as 4 cents for a single response. As far as discussions go, the more people who respond, the more you get paid. One day I didn't do anything except start one discussion here. It was so popular, that I made 68 cents just for the one discussion. Of course, I did go in and reply to each response as well. So that probably makes a difference too. Hmmm.. nobody really knows how earnings are calculated here on myLot. This is a deep, dark secret that only the admins know. I also receive a good amount of money here in a day while sometimes, I don't. Happy myLotting

Hello YazEid , I too face the same problem , yesterday I started mylot , and started to participate and respond to others but all what i got was 0.05$ , i dont know how do they calculate it or what should i do to increase my earnings ..

Hello YazEid, I think that you are on the right track as far as learning more and making longer post etc. The key here is going to be patience. With patience and God all things are possible. It's important also not to try to so much that you wind up getting burned out with mylot. i joined my lot recently.In the very beginning i thought it is one cent per discussion wheather u start it or respond to it.but after reading all of these answers i am not sure i am right or not.something are nice if they are kept secret.i love my lot and i dont mind them keeping it secret.i enjoy it for making friends and getting some advice and lastly making a little bit of money.so it is ok for me.
