Money - Equals Happiness? What do you think?

If I have enough money to buy myself a nice car, house, boat, clothes, holiday, whatever, would this bring more happiness in my life? Or not? I feel I can be perfectly happy without any of all those things and still have some change!

In my opinion, money does not equal to happiness. However, we cannot deny that money can make us happy indirectly through what we are able to buy with money such as basic necessities and even the luxurious items. Yet, it is generally agreed that the happiness one gains from the use of money can never be higher or more superior than the happiness one gets from love. By love I mean the love of people, friends, family, spouse and for the believers, God.

Sure, money can buy us a lot of things but it does not necessarily mean that it is the sole thing that can bring us happiness.

Nah money can't buy you happiness. You can have all the money in the world and still not be satisfied with what you have. For me, I think you have to be content with what you have and appreciate it in order to be happy.

It's not about how much you have it's about what you do with what you have get it? In other words, you want to make the most out of what you have and you want to make it count.

You will be even more happy or happiest, if you donate all those things to a Church/religious head for redistribution. More you throw, more you get.

I agree with you that one can be very happy without money but if money is considered as a blessing and used correctly in a right way then the happiness increases although I stand with my answer that money is not equal to happiness and that's what I think. Thanks for asking me! :)
