waiting to shut down

I am sitting here watching the most beautiful sky scape. We are expecting thunder and lighting this afternoon and I am listening for the first boom. Then I will shut down everything electrical in the house and if it's anything like last night it will be very late when we can turn it back on. Do you take lighting seriously?

Well, luckily I do not live in an area where there is a lot of lightening and Thunder Storms which is nice. This is actually something we usually do not have to worry about. But the few times we have gotten bad storms, etc. I have been known to shut down my Computer, etc. to protect things. With all the money I have invested on everything, it is best to be Safe for sure.

Well in my area when it starts to thunder and lightening the TV starts to go out. So yes I shut everything down and read and relax.
