The Hong Kong International airport passenger terminal is 1.3 km (0.8 miles) long and covers 550,000 m² (135.9 acres). The new Terminal 3 of the Beijing Capital International Airport in Beijing, People's Republic of China will beat the current record in 2007 with a size of 900,000 m².
