So some of you have probably heard the Brad Paisley song "So Much Cooler Online." The guy in the song is overweight, kind of dorky, but goes home and gets on the internet and makes himself out to be a macho hunk to talk to several women at one time. So how do you think your online persona on social networking sites compares to how you are in real life? Are you more open, more talkative, etc? Or do you make up a whole new persona other than who you are in real life just for fun and something different? Online I am more social for sure. It is easier to send messages and chat online than face to face. I am better with words in writing or type than face to face. And yes I admit in chat rooms I used to pretend I was someone I was not from time to time.....it was kind of fun and different, but I no longer do it. It was more of just something to do, I really didnt get any satisfaction out of it!

I think I am generally more happy to help people online because it simply takes a little bit of typing. When you try to help someone in person, you may have to walk them through the entire process. Online, you can choose whether or not to respond to their further requests for help. Other than that I'm fairly similar online and in real life.
