Well yesterday was Day 1 of the Active 30 Day Challenge for me. I have to tell you, I got my butt kicked by a video game. I don't know how many of you watch the Biggest Loser, but I truely never understood the people that were running and saying they were going to be sick, well I understand now! The first set of Excerises last 22 minutes and I burned 140 calaries, may not seem like a lot to you, but it is. I have MS so excerising is not easy for me to begin with and WOW. I have the Wii Fit and the The Firm Exercise videos, this is the first program that has truely made me sore and like I was going to be sick. It was fun and I improved with each exercise and I could keep up with. I stopped the Firm because the woman on TV moved to fast for me and I could not follow her. The Active is great because it move at your pace. Who wants to join me in the 30 day challenge! Today is Day 2, I will post tomorrow how I am doing!

I have been wanting to try one of these myself. I'm not sure how well my balance would don one one though. They sounds like a lot of fun.Between that and having muscle spasms I would be scared to try it.

I understand both concerns. Can I tell you that my balance is awful and the Wii has actually helped to improve it, just don't push too far to fast, keep a chair next too so you can steady yourself and as the for the muscle spasms, I hear you, but just make sure to take a flexeral before bed and that seems to keep them in control, otherwise I just walk them off during the day and hope they don't came back. I would recommend it, but you know your limitations, don't push yourself and take it easy.

Thanks if I ever get one I will take your advice. I am glad it is helping you. I use to be on flexreal but now I am on Zanaflex. I have also tried Baclofen but it get to where it wasn't helping me.

Wow, I haven't tried the Active yet. I just have the regular Wii Fit games. Those don't give me much of a work out, but they are fun. I'd love to get a real workout, maybe I should get that.
