Which is more enjoyable to you- earning or spending?

In today's lauch time gossip at office this rose as the central question.
I found it really interesting.Because, it was difficult to say for sure why people are so crazy for money.
THere are people who earns less but spend whatever they earn and enjoy doing so.But the moment they find their pocket empty they start wailing.In such cases it is difficult to say whether spending is enjoyable or otherwise.
On the other hand some people earn much but leads simple life, sometimes so simple that they fail to feel that this world is place worth living.But they enjoy the process of earning.THe more money they see in their bank account the happier they feel.
I personally like earning. But truly speaking, i have bitterly failed to earn money except the modest salary.I have invested in stock and burnt my finger. I have been spending thousands of rupees in internet i search of online jobs and never succeeded so far. I think I would have enjoyed had i been able to see some real money coming form my these efforts.
However, i am enjoying like a fool my worthless efforts at earning extra money through internet.

i dont really know how to answer this question... i was really thinking hard... to spend is really an enjoyable thing to do... but i am also enjoying earning online even though it includes hard work. i think my answer will be i enjoy doing both. spending a little amount of what i have earned makes me happy, its like a reward for all the hardwork. i am not the type of person that would just save and save and save... i love spending too, and i love eating out...lol
to have just enough savings is ok with me... i have this thinking, what will i do with a lot of money in savings when i dont know if tomorrow i will still be alive...

Personally, I think overall it depends on which way you look at it. Yes, it is Fun to be able to have extra $$ to be able to spend on things you really would like, but at the same time I find it Fun to earn the Extra $$ online on here, and other online sites as well. Gives me more satisfaction for sure.

I enjoy spending more but when the money starts going down I begin to make more. I like mylot. I have earned a bit and I used the money to buy me some web hosting. Now my funds are running low and I should try to make some more. Cheers!!

I think I like earning more. Im not saying that I dont enjoy spending but it just a great feeling when you look at your bank account and there's more rather than less cause you've spent to much of it on what you dont really need.
I know sometimes you can't help if you account goes down cause everyone has expenses that are necessary and some months are more expensive than others. All we can do is save what we can when we can.

I personally like them both. I have never eally thought about which I enjoy more. There is something great about having a big chunk of money handed to you and knowing you worked hard to earn every cent, yet at the same time nothing cheers me up more then a new outfit or a cute pair of shoes. I guess I'm one of those people who wants to have her cake and eat it too, lol. I guess I would say I find a nice balance of the two most enjoyable. I mean some people work and work and save and save, but thats not really all that fun. Some people spend and spend until they are buried in debt, thats not so great either. I think You should work hard, savr smart and spend wisely.....and hopefully that will make life just the right ammount of enjoyable.

for me earning is more enjoyable than spending, because when I eventually want to spend a few dollars on something, the money will always be there. Saving money is also very enjoyable too. Just because I have something does not mean I need to spend all that I have. I would rather earn and save, and only spend when I need to, or really want to.

I love spending than earning in real.I do not really know why the money i earn is easy to slip away. Once it is already in my hand i found it difficult to control myself spending it for food.

I like spending money, however when I find my pockets empty I hate it. I don't really like earning money, however if the job is enjoyable then it will be a bonus because then I will be able to enjoy earning and spending money.

For its enjoyable to spend or shopping after a l0ng hourS of its what we call giving back something to yourself as reward.,buT we must spend only what we were earning because being a shoppaholic tends to lead to a serious problem.Especialy if you spend m0re than you are earning.You will apply for a credit card just to buy what you want buT if you will lo0k deeper on it it is betTer to sPEND cash than a credit card basis becAuse you pay m0re than the actual cost plus the interest,
