people watching

My bf is not a planner - he is the spontaneous one in the relationship. Sometimes, we would go to the movies and end up waiting for a good hour or so to watch the movie that we want. So we would sit in our car and watch movie goers - then we try to determine which movie they are going to watch or have seen already. Then we talk about why we assume it's this movie or that - based on people's faces, who they're with, etc. It's pretty fun and definitely an interesting way to pass the time. Does anyone like to watch people? If so - what "questions" do you ask yourself about these people?

Yes, me and my friends devised a similar game. When we are waiting for a train we look at all the other people waiting for trains. We don't try to guess where they are going but try to name them on who they look like most. For example we see a guy with black circular glasses and maybe a dark, cloakish-looking coat, and one of us will say 'Harry Potter' and the rest of us will try to figure out which of the people waiting for the train is that person. It really passes the time when you have a long time to wait.

i am not that good on my feet for any length of time. (i have major knee issues), so when we go somewhere, such as the mall or whatnot, i usually end up sitting for some of the time. i dont mind because, like you, i find enjoyment in peopoe watching. i like to see what people are wearing. lol
