Have you ever been in a police lineup?

I wonder how many myLotters have been in a police line up. Many years ago, when I was about seventeen, two friends and I were waiting for a tram, when we were approached by two policemen, and were politely asked if we would mind standing in a line up. They had just apprehended a man who was suspected of taking photos of little girls, and one of the victims was at the station to identify the perp. Well, it was some experience, especially when the little girl wasn't positive, but thought it might have been me! Police knew better and we were allowed to go. Has anyone got a story about a line up? Please share it?

I've never actually been in a police line up. I've never done anything wrong to warrant police to get involved. However, I have been read my rights by the police. An old, stupid roommate of mine hung out with some really less than great people and got her iPOD stolen. Because we lived with her, we were considered the first suspects that had to be questioned. We were told we weren't in trouble but we had to be read our rights anyway.

I didn't realize the police had to read you your rights just to question you. You don't have to do something wrong to stand in a lineup. The police need seven people to stand with the perp, so the victim can positively identify them.
