Do you see Conan Obrien's move to LA a success?

What do you know about Hollywood folks, do they get his humor. Me, I'm crossing my fingers hard and hoping that's a big fat YE-S!! Conan has Charisma that just screams at you but it was a little weird for me watching his opener because some jokes he cracked seemed to go unnoticed by the audience,
do you think the whole New York humor/ Hollywood humor could clash?
I honestly will not enjoy an overdose of Celebrity humor and hope it does not go that route. Their first crack at famous figures was Joe Biden--could it just be feeling them out?

I am actually watching the first show now, to be honest I have never really watched Conan..I mean I have watched him maybe a handful of times the whole time he was in California so I am not real sure if there will be much a difference. I think if you are funny you can be funny whether you are in CA or NY.

Im watching it now and I felt a little tense up until the ending of his tour with the Universal studios tour bus (?) and everyone is shouting 'Circle-Circle-' and when it came back to the show the audience is shouting 'Circle-Circle!' and I just shouting 'Thank you Lord, they connected with him!' The beginning of the show started a little quiet for my taste, phew.

You have to understand I watched Conan regularly when he was in NY
