how can one publicize a blog???

I have a blog that has been going pretty well since the December i started it..It receives a lot of visitors...But there's not a lot of publicity from my side..I have been linking it with other blogs and so it has helped but i think there's much more that can be done,that i am not aware of..any suggestions???
