can u use wii rockband guitar on pc for guitar hero 3

hi there my lotters my son has a wii and got rockband with guitar, drums and mic for xmas. now he has got guitar hero 3 on pc and is trying to link the guitar from the rockband to his pc to use it. we looked it up etc and can only find details for linking up the guitar hero guitar with the pc. we tried but it didnt work for the rockband guitar. he can pair up the wiimote easily, had it working and all but you cant use wiimote for guitar hero. does anyone out there know how it can be done at all. we have glove pie 2.9 but all the scripts to use it online are all for guitar heros guitar and dont work, and we also have xpadder (glove pie 3.0 seems to be unavailable at the moment for some reason even thought all the sites say thats the one to use for the guitar hero guitar. we cant get it to work for rockband guitar) if anyone can help it is most appreciated.
