In these few months, i am very busy with my house renovation and taking care of my son. So, i am always don't really have much time spending to do my online discussions. I know, there are still a few discussions that i haven't give comments to them yet. I will give comment as soon as i am able to spend more time online. So, would you all mind, if to receive late comment from your discussion starter? For me, i don't mind about it...

Hi myfb, Take your sweet time. I really don't mind to get a late reply to my responses. We all have life outside the virtual world that may take us days or weeks before we can log in to the net. But totally ignoring our responses is not right.

Hi boogerman, zuesonfire, when I start a discussion I normally don't reply straight away but wait for a day or two before I come back to give my comments. This is of course not the right approach as some people would like to see what the poster have to say to their responses. On top of that it is good to give your immediate comments as it will give the discussion a better rotation in one of the tops or hot. They are well exposed. If you can give your immediate comments by all means do it before your discussions loose its spark.

Ya even i do agree with that point. It is understood that somebody has responded to your discussion so it is a minimum requirement that you need to tell something if you are really busy then it is fine. but if that is not the case then it is bad...

You have a point there, ignoring responses is not right. They start a discussion to get the views or answers to discussion from other users and in return, they have to comment back even it is late so that there is interaction among the users.

It is just fine for me if i respond to any discussions that the starter do not respond me. I am considering that maybe he/she is busy, don't have access to internet in the moment or not online for some moment in mylot. Nothing to feel anything negative to it, in my own opinion.] If the starter reply to my response it is good and i appreciate it that no matter what he/she give time to read the response of other mylotters.

No, it does not bother me if a discussion starter gives responds later to my comment. I do not come here every day. So, waiting does help me stay caught up. Real ife comes before MyLot or the internet. People need to realize that.

Yes, you're right. Our real life is worth more to us. I think, we need a happy real life, to get going on meaningfully. We online only as an additional mean to get to know more friends and at the same time to gain some new knowledge...

Hello myfb. I don't mind the starter giving a late comment to my reply so long as there is a comment later on. Sometimes I also give a late comment or response if there is not much time available on my side. But I always try to respond to all of the responses to my discussions, either old or new.

That is so true. It is alright when a response is given to the responses to our discussion whether it is late or early because we cannot be always online in the first place. Thank you for the response, friend. Happy posting.

Yes, sometimes our schedule is very full, so it's hard for us to online most of the time. But, as long as we are giving comments to all those who had responded to our discussion, it should be alright. No matter whether it's new or old discussions.....

Do you mind receiving comments late? nope I don't mind receiving comments late. We all have things that we have to do and we all need to learn to be tolerant of each other. I started this site as a hobby and for me it's just something fun to do so I don't mind if it take someone a few days to get back to me. But if it happens to take a few months then that's just the way it is. If it take a year or two. Then I would begin to wonder, if the other person really even should bother to be mylotting at all. Thanks for posting! Peace out.Lols, a funny thought just came to me. Suppose a neighbor decided to show up at your door and said they'd like to borrow a couple of eggs. But they didn't never bother to repay them not until a year or two later. I mean would you really want the eggs back after such a long time. Not me I would just say forget about it.

Glad to receive your response. Happy to know that, you know how to tolerate with one another. Of course, i will also tell the neighbor, that i don't mind about them anymore. Well, why the neighbor need to take such a long time to repay back those eggs? It's not logic, right?

Thanks for your clear answer. Yeap, it's better not to borrow anything from any one of your neighbor. Sometimes, because of borrowing things, the good friendship that you had built for many years with your neighbor just turned sour..That's what happened to my two ex-neighbors. Now, they just don't talk to each other anymore..

Hello friend, thanks for your response, I think that the neighbor probably has no intentions of repaying the eggs if it take that long for him to repay. Anyhow I'm happy to have friends that are flexible. That is what I'm hoping for most here at mylot. Thanks for your friendship. Tip for the day: Don't ever borrow eggs from a neighbor, it can make for bad relations........Happy mylot.

Frankly speaking, I don't care about this problem at all. I don't think it is a big deal. In my opinion, it is not necessary to give comment to every response. I am always too busy to give an immediate comment to the response. I hope my friends will not care about this.

Happy to know about it. But, i think it's better, if possible to give at least a short comment, to show that you're appreciate with their replies. And, the more you give comment, the more you earn in return...

See buddy talking from my point of view, when ever i respond to a discussion i generally answer it to the point and i will make it absolutely clear. And i don't expect any further comments there but still if there are any further comments then i will continue to share my opinion. But being a genunine discussion i think the discussion initiater should respond as fast as possible as it maintains the flow that is required for a good discussion. Good Luck..

Hi, thanks for giving some good response to my discussion. I am happy to hear some useful and interesting view being aired here. Yeap, i agreed that the faster i am able to response to my discussion, the more active that discussion scenario. I ever saw that happening to some of my discussions and even to most of the mylot discussions..

myfb2009, As a matter of fact i feel good and happy somebody has replied to my discussion. When at first I post a question I wait for people to reply to my discussion when just one or two write I feel kinda sad but when a reply comes from somebody later than usual it makes me feel good.

Yes, indeed we felt happy when saw someone willing to reply to our discussion. If only one or two reply to our discussion, of course we will felt a bit sad but nevermind about it. It's normal in Mylot, maybe sometimes it's due to our discussion is not very interesting. Just stay calm and happy always..

I still feel that if possible, it's better to comment back to those who had responded to your discussion. At least, it shows that you care. So better give comment to your responses as much as you can to show that you appreciate their view..

To be honest, I don't mind if he/she respond or not. I just want to give my comment on the discussion. I will be happy if he/she does respond. If not, I'll just let it go. It's not like talking to the wall, but we can give our respond in a real life discussion, and if we're talking to a large group, it's not necessary that every respond receive will receive a comment back by the starter. He/she might comment it in general.

Hello, myfb2009! Well, I don't mind it when the discussion starter give a comment to my response lately. It is okay for me no matter how late it is takes as long as they post a comment to my response and I am happy with it. I am a user too and I understand that we have other things to do aside from getting online here so I just consider that they are busy to other things that's why they can't post a comment right away. I also try to post a comment when someone had responded to my discussions even it is late. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

I am happy to know that you're a considerate person and understand that everyone of us are having a different type of offline lifestyles. It's quite common that sometimes, we can't fully devoted our time to online. but, a late comment is still better than no comment at all, right?

I don't mind late comments to my responses. I just think starter is just busy. Though, I do keep on reading comments to my responses and of course quite excited how they appreciate my replies to their posts. It's alright however, should others commenting late. Same I do appreciate their comments.
