My lettuce just came out of the ground last week because here in Ontario the temperature is not very hot yet. This morning I looked at the thermometer and it was a 36 degrees Farenheit. I'm looking forward to eat my salad too. I know it taste good when its fresh out of the garden.

I know what you mean. I planted strawberries last season, and this spring I have harvested about two boxes already. It pays to garden! What do you use to protect your lettice from cut worms?

Hi psychotaz, I am glad you are enjoying your lettuce. Remember to use only the larger outside leaves and the plant will keep producing. Have you not tried any hearting lettuce?. They taste the best. Home grown certainly is the tops!
