How many hours do you sleep each day???

These day I started to fall in deep long sleep each day ... I sleep at 5 a.m and wake up around 6 p.m ... I don't know why??? sometimes I feel like I was comatosed ... some one told me to check the level of B12 vitamin but I don't know what is the relation between sleep and B12 level!!! what about you ... how many hours do you sleep each day??? is it normal to sleep 13 hours per day or abnormal??? does sleeping hour per night= sleeping hour per day???

I get around 7-8 hours of sleep each day. It isn't normal to sleep 13 hours. Do you ever wake up and still feel tired? The recommended hours you should sleep in 7-8. What I usually do is check the time I'm going to bed and set my alarm for 8 1/2 later so I don't oversleep and I try to eliminate anything that will wake me up during the night so I don't undersleep.

yes when I sleep less or more than the period that you used to sleep I feel like my body is broken !!!

It depends. When I'm so happy, I can't sleep much. Even if I lye on the bed, I'll be sleeplessly thinking of something else. If I'm not happy, then naturally, my sleeping time is low. Normally, I use to sleep for7 hours a day.

that's right when I excited or happy or even anxious I can't sleep ... the emotional status affects human activity ...

I sleep at 1 - 2 am , and wake up at 8 am , sometimes if I was tired i will take a nap afternoon , but it is not always .. I think that 8 hours of sleeping everyday is the best amount of sleeping for young people .. extreme age groups might need more sleeping but it is not so far from this number have a nice day

This is a really good discussion,because sleep is very important since people can not get by without sleeping to regenerate their energy,and doctors say that everyone needs eight hours of sleep,but I know that how much sleep a person needs depends on the person and how active they are,some people might need eight ours or more,while others might need less than eight hours,when it comes to me and my fiance I am not sure exactly how long we sleep,because we used to sleep a lot,but I do not think we sleep as much now,we usually go to bed about midnight,and then my fiance usually gets up between seven a.m. and nine a.m.,and I usually go to sleep about two a.m. and then I usually get up between ten thirty a.m and eleven thirty a.m. depending on what we have to do,and how good I sleep,some days I will get up as early as nine a.m. and me and my fiance are on a diet,and we are trying to exercise more,so I know I am starting to feel better and more healthy,so I can get by without having to sleep all day like I used to do,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

Nope me and my fiance get up in the morning and then we stay up all day doing whatever we need to do,we do not take a nap,we do not sleep until midnight when we go back to bed,because we are trying to stay up longer and sleep less,and we are trying to lose weight and get more stuff done,especially since our wedding is set for September,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

aha ... so you sleep about 8 hours daily ... I think this is enough for everybody do you take any nap after noon ?

Hello 3orabi , I try to get at least 6 hours a night for sleeping. If I get too much more I start to feel like I am in a fog for the rest of the day until the evening time. I can survive on a couple hours but then I will crash that night.I never heard anyting about sleep and vitamin B12.

I usually sleep 7/8 hours during the week... In the weekend, that I don't have to work, I sleep 8/9 hours and sometimes also 10 hours! It's only a how much are you tired question...

I usually don't sleep because of tiredness ... I sleep because it became a habit ... my body used to sleep just to sleep not for any other reason ...

Answering your question first, these days I sleep for around 10-11 hours a day. I find it a bit strange myself but what else can I do during holidays when even friends are busy with supplementary exams. Otherwise, during college days, I sleep for usually around 6-7 hours. And the B12 level being linked to sleep is something I'm hearing for the first time. But does it really matter? Its one's own choice. I don't think there's anything abnormal. I've seen people sleep as long as 15 hours a day as well. But as far as the (day sleep hours=night sleep hours) equation is concerned, I can't comment on it as I myself have no idea though I personally don't find it different.

What do you in night time? Are you working in night shift or what? Me, I used to get sleep at 10 at night and get up at 5 in the morning. Which sums up 7 hours of sleep! My dr told me to have sleep for 8 hours a day but becaues of myLot I wake up early in the morning.

During the week I usually like to get to bed around midnight..I woke up around 7 am to get the kids up and off to school so I like to get about 7 or 8 hours a night but it doesn't always happen. Most of the time on the weekends I will stay up later, I can go to sleep anywhere from 1 to 3 am but I always sleep in a lot later when I stay up the late which I don't really like because then I miss out on the day. I just drag through the next day is I don't get at least 7 hours.

I get about 6 hours of sleep every night. I wish I could get a couple more sometimes, but I naturally like to stay up late and my daughter likes to be up early. The relation to vitamin 12 and sleep is that it helps regulate your energy levels. A lot of people are prone to B12 deficiency. I'd just buy some and give it a try. If that doesn't work you may want to visit a doctor and get a hormone level test done. I'm not sure if that's available to you or not. Some doctors don't do them, but you could have a deficiency or anemia. Anemia is really easy to test for. They only take a small amount of blood to do it. Good luck getting it figured out. It can also be affected by depression if you suffer from that.
