Whoo hoo!!! I have a yellow star with the number "8" on it!

Hello friends,
I just wanted to share something with you all. I noticed that I have a yellow star with the number eight on it. Can anyone tell me what it means
? At first my star was white and it had the number seven

It is a rating that other users have given your posts, which means you got a lot of positives. I have had my color star since I got my star, and I guess it has grown on me lol. I can't seem to do any better, so I guess I will just have to live with it. I have rubbed people the wrong way though, I think, as it is pretty much stays the same, and I participate all the time. Oh well, not a biggy I guess. It isn't the most important thing anyway. Making friends, sharing opinions and getting paid for them are the most important in here. I am having so much fun that I can't see myself anywhere else. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hello! Well, I started with a brown star with number 3 in it. I see your posts and they are good, I don't know why your star remained as you had mentioned. You can avoid posting to discussions involving politics or religion because there is a high risk of decreasing reputation. All of us have different opinions and beliefs. When others don't agree with you, they might rate you negative. Just keep on giving quality posts to get more positive ratings. It is important because it affects the earnings.

I think it has something to do with the amount of positive ratings you earn for your comments.
Mine's pretty low, since I'm still new to this site.

Someone has probably already explained this, but I'm answeing from my e-mail and I can't see what your responses say. An eight means you have had enough positive ratings to push you up to an eight star from a seven. One is the lowest, the worst star to have, and ten is the highest, the best kind you can have.

Well Star, its Color and number in it shows ur rating in fellow mylotters
they like ur discussion and response and rate ur discussion, based on it they give u number and start, Max number is 10.

Gosh you've not heard about the DRS (Discussion Rating System) here yet?
It's all here

but basically it's the sum of postive + and negative - ratings that your discussions, responses, comments and photos have received.

I only have silver star with seven on it. But sooner or later it will become blue star with the number 10 on it. Goodluck to all of us. Godbless.
