The Potter series were possibly some of the best books I read in a long time. I will admit I was a little disappointed in some of the movies but I am still looking forward to the next two. My brother-in-law works at a theater and due to the lack of blockbusters for the summer the November release of the Half Blood Prince was pushed back to July. Now the come is out and the previews are showing and I am curious to see who all is going to go to see it when it first comes out.

I'm hoping it won't follow the book too closely. 75-80% of the book deals with flashbacks and is not as active as the first five books. If the movie follows that pattern, it's going to be hard to keep up with. The trailers look fast paced and highly active but we've all had experiences where all the "good" stuff is in the trailers. P.S. There are three more movies. They are splitting The Deathly Hallows into two movies, one next Fall and one the following Summer. If they really do release them that way, it puts them back on their original schedule for finishing the franchise in the summer of 2012.

Really? I had no idea they were going to split up Deathly Hallows but than the book was the longest of all seven. For HBP I am hearing a lot of good things about it and I got a feeling this one will live up to the hype they are giving it buy you are right. Just because the trailer looks good doesn't mean the movie will be any good.

I am excited as well. Although, I am not expecting it to be exactly like the book because I know that I will just be disappointed once I do. So there. Let's just enjoy the movie and the sparks that add as well to our Harry Potter's side of mind. Cheers!

Definitely. If you see it before me you will have to let me know if it was worth the cost to go see it.
