TV show Cops: Innocent until proven guilty

The other day, I am slacking off, watching tv when Cops comes on. And at the beginning of the program, the voiceover says, "All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" (or something like that).
And I realized that I just presume that if you are caught on film, if you are on Cops and are not a victim or a member of law enforcement, that I just presume that you are guilty. Filmed running from the cops, I just presume that you are guilty.
I could go on, but I think that you get the point that I am a happy little cynic.
So am I the only one that just presumed that if you are shown being chased by the police during an espisode of Cops that you are guilty? Am I just being unAmerican or what? Do you presume that the people that the police arrest on the show Cops are guilty? Or is it just me?

To me it is like when I was The First 48 on the A&E channel. The suspects are sitting there, confessing in detail about their crime. And as the shows ends comes the screen that says all of these people who have been arreasted are innocent until proven guilty. Uh, I'm pretty sure the uncoerced confession I just saw means they are guilty.

Yeah, you would think that a confession would equal guilt. Yea for America where even an uncoerced confession does not neccessarily make you guilty.

Of course, we are the exact reason that the defense would want the tape thrown out. We are the defense's worst jury nightmare.
