Substance abuse

Substance abuse means excessive or problem use. Addiction is dependence on the substance; both abuse and addiction have serious health and social consequences for the user and those around them. Addiction usually comes as a result of peer pressure, depression or sometimes by carelessness or by habit, it creeps in unannounced in most times especially when it is drug or alcohol related. My advise however is that we must be careful as one is at risk of crossing the line of abuse or addiction, if you are into instant gratification as t he line is indeed very thin. There is therefore a need to check on the way you consume or use any item or substance to check if you on the verge of crossing the line into addiction or not.

Yes it leads to abuse when using harmful substances. Abusing thyself and the society. And it is so risky with yourself and others. The Word of Wisdom is teaching by the LDS Missionaries or Mormons. And the government law fights against harmful substances.
