For those of you click in this discussion probably likes to cook :-) Let's talk about how do you like to cook? Cooking on the stove? Bake in the oven? Grill on the grill? I think I mostly do cooking on the stove, second is baking in the oven and I have my hubby use the grill once in a wihle, just like tonight, we are going to have grill steak, yum yum yum !!! :-D I cook lots of food on the grill, when I use the oven, I usually use it to bake a whole chicken, melt the cheese or do real bakings. What about you? Which one is your favourite?

i love to cook. i always use stove in cooking our daily menu. sometimes i also use crockpot for stews and turbo broiler for chicken and pork ribs to lessen the fats and doesn't need oil. the grill is always used by the man of the house.

I like to bake the most and make dessert / treats. I like to cook in about every way. I don't think there i one way I o not like to cook. None that I can think of. There are some chores to cooking I dislike...such as peeling onions or peeling potatoes.

Hi Mermaid, I don't enjoy the preparation and cleaning up, so I would opt for the most convenient way of cooking, that is, using the slow-cooker. I just dump meat, vegetables and everything in, add water and let it cook for 4-5 hours. I can get soups, casseroles and stews done easily this way. And only the slow-cooker to clean up, as compared to the pots, pans and other stuff that I have to wash, if I cook on the stove, in the oven or grill.

since i like cooking it does not matter the ways of cooking but i like most is the simple one on the stove. Grill is okay but i will smell smoke. I like oven but not all recipes calls for oven. But just the same , cooking will be enjoyable as long as you love it.

am from the philippines and though a third world country we have stoves . so that gives you an idea of how most of us cook here: we fry foods, we boil them, we steam them, sometimes we grill them on a grilling pan on the stove mostly powered by gas . i know how to cook but mostly i use the stove. it is only on rare occassions that some of us use the oven and those who use this are those who know how to really cook. grilled foods here are quite prevalent in what we call street foods.

Dear friend, Here in my place south India we usually cook food that is much different from west. May be I do like those with masalas curries which is mostly cooked on stoves and may on heaters. I do like capatis which can be cooked on grill but we usually do it on stoves. But those cooked in stoves are mostly favourite for me.

I cook all different way. I dont have a grill available right now but i like that way too. I bake alot in the microwave too. Frying is something i dont do that much. Although i like that too. Just health reasons i make it more occasional than regular.

I love grilling. It's my favorite because it involves less clean up. I even do my veggies on the grill. I make up those hobo packs (veggies double wrapped in aluminum foil) and throw them directly on the coals.

Hey mermaidivy! I love to cook! And since I live in NYS it would depend on the season! I live in an apartment so grilling is kind of out, unless we "take a chance"! I cook in the oven and on the stove. In the winter it's more in the oven cooking so I can warm the house. But, I really do both oven and stove cooking! Like tonight I'm broiling a London Broil that I have marinated in teriaki sauce since it's only 68 degrees! But, I love to make fried pork chops because that is my boyfriends favs and that is a stovetop cooking dish and I also make some dishes that I have made up like "chicken paprika" which I made over the weekend on the stove! I just am a crazy cook so I don't care if I cook or bake or whatever! But, when the weather is too hot then it gets to be a problem here because it does get really hot in the summertime and then I go for the quick stuff and salads!

I don't have a microwave, I have used it when I was at work to reheat my lunchbox, don'tlike it very much though because it dries out my food.

i use the oven for most of my food as its easy and i always set a timer on it so that if i get busy it doesnt burn. I use the stove too but only for pasta and stuff like that. I had using the microwave i dont believe that if you use that for cooking it tastes anywhere near as good.

It changes with the seasons. In the Fall and Winter, I'm all about making Soup, rice and pasta on the stove. In the Spring and Summer, it's all about grilling. Lately, I've been all about the baking and trying to perfect the cupcake, cookies and cakes. I'm known for being a horrible baker, but I'm trying to change that!I'm Vegan, so it's fun to discover new ways to recreate recipes with baking and cooking.

When it is summer I prefer to cook on the grill. It helps to keep the house cooler than the oven or stove and there are no pots and pans to wash. We use it a bit in the spring and fall, but almost never in the winter. I also like to use my crockpot quite a bit. It is nice to throw everything in and when I get home from work dinner is already made.

Hi mermaidivy, if for the purpose of taste I always prefer to have fried food especially Chinese style stirred fry or deep fry. Of course this is not good to our health so I usually would like to take such type of cooking food once or twice in a week. To keep the body healthy and fit I always prepare our homemade food either steam, boil or even eat raw. Due to the lack of time I usually prepare steamed fish and rice, boiled soup and vegetable salads for meal. This way of cooking could save me a lot of time. Moreover it is also good to our health Happy posting and have a nice day!

I think the best cooking is barbequed meat, but it is hard to beat an oven roast. Of course the oven gets used often when there are kids around, many cakes and pies are baked. But, when i have a barbeque, or go to one, there are so many things that can be cooked on it, and its easy to clean after use.

The grill is the best way to cook,I think, because you can't get that smokey favor on the stove. The grill is very versitile. From smoking to baking you can do it all on the grill and it can be a very enjoyable experience.
