let's write a story together

hello mylotters far and wide. last night as i was having trouble sleeping i came up with a brainwave of sorts. and i would be ever so delighted if you could all join me in a little experiment that i would like to try out. i would like for us to write a story together, and just sort of see where it all goes. here is what i would like to do, i am going to start off a story and post what i have, and i would like whoever is interested to pick up the thread of the story and continue it to a certain point, then someone else can take over from there. what do you all think, i think it would be fun to see the journey that the story will take. so then i shall begin, the story is yet untitled because i have no idea what it will be about so here goes : UNTITLED She sat there facing the door in the pitch dark, facing the door with her shotgun tightly gripped in both hands and her beloved companion Bowzer at her feet. Her heart was pounding and she reeked of sweat and fear.....

The fear she felt was not for herself but for the unborn child in her bulging stomach. A few short months ago she could have easily escaped out of the second story window. After her last miscarriage she couldn't, no...she wouldn't risk the chance of falling again.

She watched the door of the house they had made a life in. Tears filled her eyes as she carefully watched the door handle. As she waited thoughts of her life, their life together, and the life of her unborn child filled her mind. Slowly the door handle moved and she gripped the shotgun even harder as tears fell down her cheeks.
